A Story We Believe We Know

There are stories we think we know.

Stories we’ve heard so many times, we stop asking questions.

The book of Job is one of them.

A man loses everything.
Jehovah allows it.
Faith endures.

That’s the version most of us were given.

What if that isn’t the whole story?
What if some of what Job believed… wasn’t true?
What if his greatest suffering wasn’t what he lost, but what he misunderstood about Jehovah?

This is not a story about a man being tested.
This is a story about a man who thought he knew Jehovah, and the moment he realized he didn’t.

Step into the ashes. Wrestle with the questions. Discover the story of Job anew.
